Katzie Slough Tour

Katzie-Slough-Walking-tour-poster-May-2014-231x300.jpgLooking for something, fun, free and outdoors to do on a Saturday evening?

On Saturday May 24th join Watershed Watch and Scott Magri, a local Pitt Meadows resident and avid supporter of Katzie slough on a walk about of the slough.

In its prime Katzie Slough was a huge coho contributor to the south Alouette River. Now it is primarily a drainage ditch. Learn about the importance of the slough, some of the cool animals that call it home and what Scott, with the help of the community, is doing to create a healthy natural space for residents and visitors to beautiful Pitt Meadows.
