What better day to show some love to the water than Valentine's Day!?
Streamkeeping is a great way to get outside, spend some time on local waterways and contribute valuable data and observations toward the protection of the water wealth we so enjoy from our shared home waters.
This Valentine's Day, Saturday the 14th of February, take part in some basic streamkeeping at two locations on Luckakuck Creek;
- near the WaterWealth office, not far from the current headwaters of the creek, and;
- near the mouth of the creek where it joins Chilliwack River.
Dress for the weather and to maybe get your feet wet. There will be a bit of walking, about 800m from the office to the first location (and back), then we'll sort our selves into car pools to drive to the second location where we'll walk about 600m to the creek. Afterward, we'll return to the office for a look at where the data goes.
