SIGN THE WATERWEALTH DECLARATION on the right side of this page.

We want our political representatives to know that they are expected to stand up decisively for our home waters in the Fraser Valley. Based on what we heard through our surveys and story mapping, we have developed a community declaration that we ask the people of our region to sign.

Please add your signature to the declaration and make your commitment to protect the precious streams, lakes and aquifers of the Fraser Valley. Make your voice count.  THANK YOU.

Our water is a precious commodity and must be preserved. It is not for sale of any kind.

The Fraser River is the longest free flowing, and most productive wild salmon river in B.C., and possibly the world. The Fraser is much too valuable to take ANY chance on any increased industrial degradation.

Thank you for organizing to take care of the waters in the Fraser Valley. All water needs to be protected and clean, as we see over an over when people are trying to survive with very little. We cannot survive without water.

It infuriates me that Nestle and, I’m sure, other corporations don’t pay more for our water – there’s the funding for environmental initiatives in BC right there!

Why are we the only stupid country in the world that give water away for (almost) nothing.
